Wedding Card with Video

Happy Wednesday! This is Jeanette and I thought I would share this wedding card that I made. I also made a video to share how I put the card together! I used my Die-lights in a fun new way that maybe you will want to try yourself!

A Gift Box using Simply Maya "First Date"...

Morning all....

Vicky here today....and I thought I share with you a paper mache box I have decorated using one of Simply Maya digi stamps..

 

and here it is...

 

 

and here are the items I used..

Scalloped Swirly Border Die

Cute Butterfly Trio

Leaves Trio

Nested Flowers set 1

Basic Pink Pearl Brad

Charm

Button Twine

 

And here is how I made it..

 

 

Diecut your elements..

 

 

1} Decorate the sides of the box with your papers of choice.

2} Stick the border strips along the edge of the box, then follow around with lace if desired.

3} Tie some button twine around the box {I went round twice} then tie a large bow. 

4} Thread the charm and tie to twine {I find it easier do it that way...!!}.

Decorate your lid of the box with your chosen image and arrange your pretty elements..

es ist Zeit für die Schnipselchen, euch ein kleines Tutorial zu zeigen.
it´s time for the Schnipselchen to show you a little tut this months.

Ich habe immer ein paar Kleinigkeiten zuhause, die ich z.B. bei bestellten Karten oder ähnliches mitgebe.

Heute möchte ich Euch ein schnelle Variante zeigen, mit der tollen Stanze Schachtelbare Form von Whiff of Joy.

Today we will show you a tutorial for a fast, little giveaway, which you can make with the Whiff of Joy cutting die "nestable shape". It´s a really quick technique, please take a look at the pictures below.

material:

rest of design-paper

die-light - nestable shape

glue

scor-pal, folding tool

crop-a-dile (or something else)

text stamp

ribbon

and some goodies, chocolate

Stanzt nun zweimal die Form aus, am besten nun auch gleich ein oder zwei Löcher stanzen,
cut out the shape a couple of times and make the holes with your crop-a-dile or something else.

falzt es nun unten, siehe Foto.
make a fold like the picture below.

Jetzt noch ein Textstempel drauf.
Now take a occasion on the design paper.

Nun klebt Ihr die unteren Seiten übereinander, geht am besten wenn man die Füllung dazwischen legt.
Lay the two folded sides about each other and glue it.

Noch zubinden und schon ist mein kleines Dankeschön fertig.
Now use the ribbon to close your little giveaway and your ready.

Wings or romantic swirl?

Hallo liebe Leser,

Hello lovely readers,

heute zeige ich, Clarissa von Schnipsel und mehr,  euch einen kleinen workshop, wie ihr aus der tollen Whiff of Joy "Romantischer Schnörkel 2" Stanze ganz einfach zauberhafte Flügel  machen könnt.

today I, Clarissa from Schnipsel und mehr, will show you how to make some magical wings with the great Whiff of Joy "Romantic Swirl 2" cutting die.

Material:

Kraft paper

weißen Fotokarton / white cardstock

Schere / scissors

(Kleber / glue only for the foil)

Brads

optional:

Distress Crackle paint white or clear rock

white paint

Distress Embossing powder

Foamies foil

Ihr stanzt als nun ein paar Mal die Schnörkel aus, für die Flügel verwende ich allerdings nur den großen Schnörkel.

You cut the swirls a couple of times, for my wings you need only the large swirl.

Jetzt schneidet ihr den unteren Teil, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist, ab.

Now, cut off the ending, like you see it on the picture below.

Schon ist der Rohling fertig und ihr könnt ihn einmal vor euch hinlegen, bitte daran denken, dass ihr in einmal seitenverkehrt verwenden müsst.

Your blank is ready, lay it down but please take care, that you have to reverse left to right wich one of your cutted wings. 

Jetzt könnt ihr eure Flügel nach Lust und Laune verzieren. Meine Kraft-Flügel habe ich mit dem Embossing Pulver "Vintage Photo" verziert und das andere Paar mit Distress Crackle Paint white und clear rock überzogen.

It´s time to make your finish styling, use embossing powder, distress crackle paint or whatever you want to.

Sind die Flügel fertig getrocknet, setzt ihr sie mit eurem Brad oben dem "kleinen Haken" zusammen und fertig sind die selbstgemachten Flügel.

When your wings are getting dry, put your brad on the top and your wings are ready.
