"As small as it may seem, I finally thought of making a Calendar Flip Chart for my board. Yes, I can easily just write out the date on the board like most teachers do... but I always seemed to forget. And yes... I had one of those cutesy desk calendars and even had student volunteers to change the date... but it just took up precious desk real estate and even the kids would forget to change the date.
