Being the meticulous notetaker I am (I blame my journalism roots), I've always kept a journal, particularly around the start of the new year to track my goals and short-lived resolutions. For some reason or another though, I lost steam along the way, abandoning the journal, and with it, I lost track of some of the things I had my sights set on that year. (Is anyone else guilty of this?) This blog, however, I like to think has taken the place of all those abandoned journals and from time to time, it's fun to flip back through the pages, especially as another year comes to an end. That said, I wanted to thank all of YOU for following along with me. I would never have thought, when first starting this outlet, that it would have become such a large part of my life and be the reason for so many great friendships. This year has marked a lot of firsts for me and I truly couldn't have done it without all of you -- so thank you for your support and cheers to 2013!
